Rural Days of Action – South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse

The police in South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse area will be holding some days of action to help tackle rural crime in the area.

This activity is part of the larger initiative where Thames Valley Police will conduct 100 days of action to tackle rural crime. Each of the ten rural Local Policing Areas (LPAs) will hold 10 days (five in summer, five in winter), of intensive operational and crime prevention activity to tackle rural crime.

As part of the days of action your Neighbourhood policing teams will be at Markets in Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, Thame, Henley, Wantage and Faringdon, on the following days in September:

Monday 16th – Abingdon Market
Tuesday 17th –  Faringdon, Thame and Wallingford Markets
Wednesday 18th – Wantage Market
Thursday 19th – Henley Market
Friday 20th – Didcot Market (Abingdon and Wallingford Farmers Market)

RURAL CRIME REDUCTION EVENT – FRIDAY 20th SEPTEMBER

Rural Crime Reduction Event –  Friday 20 September, between 10am and 4pm at Millets Farm, Kingston Road, Frilford, near Abingdon. The Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be property marking bikes and giving out property marking kits FREE OF CHARGE.
