Parish Council

The Parish Council is responsible for local matters within the confines of the village and should be the first port of call for villagers requiring advice or action on village issues.  It maintains the village environment either by paying for such things as grass cutting and street cleaning or by calling upon the services of the District or County Councils on matters such as planning applications and highway maintenance.  Contact with the Council can be made via an individual councillor or The Clerk.

The Council has five elected members and is served by the Parish Clerk.  Meetings (open to the public) are held in the Village Hall on the second Wednesday of  the odd-numbered months (January, March, etc.) starting at 7.30 p.m. The date and agenda of each meeting is advertised on the Notice Board by the bus shelter.
