And on a lighter note…

Ian @ The Chequers Socks Quiz!

Some of you will know of Ian’s penchant for crazy socks! To help us all through this difficult time together, we decided to write a virtual quiz for you to enjoy whilst you are at home.

With the bonus of the winners receiving a

free takeaway meal from the Chequers

The quiz is here.

All the answers are somewhere on the Parish Council website (https://charneybassett.org.uk/) or the Charney History website (https://history.charneybassett.org.uk/) .

When you find the answer to the question, you will also find a photo of a sock. Enter the answer to the question in the table on the quiz sheet and describe the sock. There are also anagrams to complete, and a tie-breaker question.

Answers by email to charney.history@btinternet.com , via a scan, a photo, or whatever means works for you.

Entries should be submitted by the end of Tuesday 7th April 2020. Ian will announce winners on Wednesday 8th. Entries currently limited to Charney householders (but who knows we might do it for local villages later!)
